# Giveaways

> Create and manage server giveaways with Caesar.

Giveaways are managed with `/gw` slash commands. Use `/gw start` to set the winner count, duration, prize, and optional host. The `/gw list` command shows active or inactive giveaways.

Staff can use `/gw update`, `/gw end`, `/gw cancel`, and `/gw reroll` to manage an existing giveaway. Discord's command picker shows each action's required fields.

## Entry requirements

A giveaway may require a minimum invite count, one or more roles, or both types of requirement. When both an invite requirement and role requirement are configured, a member qualifies by meeting **either** requirement. If multiple roles are configured, any one of those roles is sufficient.

The invite and role checks are evaluated when a member enters. Members who do not meet an entry requirement cannot join.
